Title : Senior Analyst or Associate Director, Office of Global Analytical Head (GAH)
Location : New York
Reporting To : Chief of Staff (CoS), Office of GAH
Fitch Ratings (FR) is a part of Fitch Group, a global market leader in the provision of credit ratings, financial information and data services.
The role will be targeted at high potential candidates within Fitch Group with opportunity for the candidate to move into other areas of the Fitch Group business thereafter as appropriate. It will provide a unique development opportunity for a future leader, as the candidate will work directly with senior managers across all business units developing strategic thinking, networking and effective communication.
This role supports the GAH Office and reports directly to the CoS. The candidate helps ensure smooth execution of and act as a central resource for various strategic projects and initiatives that span multiple analytical groups or business units (Operations, Compliance, CPG, etc.), in pursuit of FR's strategic objectives.
In addition, the candidate will act as a strategic partner to the CoS and GAH, and will participate in various planning sessions and senior management meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as Program Coordinator for Fitch's highest-profile initiative towards Analytical Excellence, the ACE Program. Responsibilities include processing the pipeline of nominations, managing quarterly judging panels, maintaining and analyzing program statistics, creating quarterly update and annual program review decks, ownership of the budget, and planning the annual ACE Gala in collaboration with the Events and Employee Communication teams.
• Work with the CoS and GAH providing support in the execution of key strategic projects.
• Support CoS when working with the Compliance Testing & Monitoring (CTM) team, including collaborating/assisting on remedial actions and controls.
• Review the monthly Capacity Utilization Report distributed by Operations, and provide feedback, resolve inconsistencies and help develop improvements where appropriate.
• Coordinate Common Interest Group process; manage FX CIG page.
• Support select cross-functional projects and initiatives within the analytical teams, seeking to bridge gaps, gain efficiencies and drive improvements.
• Provide support for Board presentations/materials when needed.
• Ad hoc projects as directed by CoS and GAH.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree
• At least 4 years of analytical or related experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Ability to manage projects and drive progress towards execution
• Ability to interact comfortably with key stakeholders across the company including senior management

FOR NEW YORK AND CALIFORNIA ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $130,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
