Community Enrichment Specialist (Full-Time) (Finance)
Survey individuals served to assess desires for community involvement and exploration.
Coordinate integrated community opportunities based on feedback received from individuals served.
Partner with individuals and their Planning Teams to set up potential volunteer/employment opportunities.
Build and maintain strong community connections to further grow the accessibility and opportunities provided to individuals.
Provide Mobility Training to individuals, depending on individualized need, utilizing public transportation, paratransit, Uber, Lyft, Taxi services, etc.
Train Easter Seals' employees who support the individual as it relates to community access and/or mobility training.
Exemplify outstanding customer service by being immediately accessible to provide community related support to individuals served.
Required to obtain and retain at least five (5) community volunteer sites, and two (2) potential sites for integrated employment exploration per year.
Stay up to date on individual needs and desires, participate in Planning Team meetings as requested and as appropriate to provide better services.

Follow all safety procedures as outlined by the Injury, Illness and Prevention Program Safety Manual and understand the consequences of non-compliance.
Comply with privacy laws and requirements under HIPAA regulations and understand the consequences of non-compliance.
Typical work hours are Monday through Friday; 7.5 hours per day. Will be required to report to community locations to provide support and/or training services to Easter Seals Adult Day Program individuals and staff in the greater Sacramento or Yuba City areas. Flexible hours may be necessary during special events.
Administrative Support
Work closely with the Adult Day Program Quality Assurance Officer to maintain high quality integrated community services.
Maintain records and documentation on established community site connections and potential site connections.
Complete required reports per Easter Seals documentation and funding sources documentation.
Communication
Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
Address stakeholder concerns/complaints and solve problems with supervisor as needed.
Maintain effective communication with supervisor regarding program state of affairs including program needs and morale.
Education
Associate of Arts degree in a field related to human service, social work, special education, recreational therapy or business is desired.
Two (2) year's experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
Prior supervisory experience preferred or demonstrated leadership potential.
Language Skills
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Follow written and verbal directions.
Effectively be able to present information and respond to questions from supervisor, co-workers, clients and the general public.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and use available resources.
Work independently with minimum supervision.
Interpret and follow a variety of instructions provided verbally, written, in diagram and/or schedule form.
Maintain composure and good judgment under stressful conditions.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, volunteers, clients, and the general public.
Technological Skills
Intermediate technological skills to include knowledge of social media and agility to learn various software platforms.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft 365 software application preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Position Requires:
Adult First Aid/CPR with AED & Basic First Aid.
Fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice.
Pre-placement physical.
Negative TB test within the twelve (12) months before hiring.
Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination status as documented by Vaccination Record and includes the passing of two (2) weeks from the last required dose.
