Quality Manager (Biotech)

Arcosa Traffic Structures is looking for a Quality Manager. The top candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who is excited about taking us to the next level. The Quality Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of quality and driving the facility to become world class.

 

What You'll do:

  • Manage all aspects of quality, including fit and function along with documentation compliance
  • Continue to Develop, execute and successfully maintain a quality system and any applicable quality certifications for the plant
  • Work with staff across all functions to ensure compliance to procedures and audit established procedures both internally and externally
  • Train appropriate personnel on quality requirements, procedures, testing and usage of measuring tools
  • Identify potential areas of risk and make recommendations for solutions; develop reports on quality trends and report out to management
  • Identify process improvement initiatives and execute projects to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost (SQDC)
  • Work with the plant team on root cause analysis and corrective action resolutions.
  • Work with quality staff on schedules to ensure complete coverage of inspectors for each shift

 

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 5 years' experience
  • 5+ years of experience with AISC or ISO quality systems
  • 5+ years of supervising a quality control team
  • AWS CWI preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of NDT practices and methods
  • Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency
  • Well versed in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
