Position Summary/Objective
The Digital Marketing Analyst is an integral part of our digital marketing team, working with our marketing channel owners, development team, and senior leaders to dictate data-driven strategy based on KPIs and observed trends. The right candidate must be able to work both independently to analyze data and cull insights as well as collaboratively with the team leveraging various reporting tools to create action plans for driving digital growth across our brands.
Essential Functions:
- Utilizing a variety of tools, extract, report on and analyze customer journey data
- Collaborate cross-functionally to quantify and optimize results of online marketing initiatives
- Communicate insights and provide solutions that have demonstrable results
- Help lead the team's approach to digital media attribution, cross-channel performance, and data interpretation across all channels
- Identify and correct site tagging issues that impair visibility and work with the team to implement best practices for data tracking
- Serve as the power user and subject matter expert for Google Analytics 4
- Work with the data analytics team to identify and utilize business intelligence reporting using Microsoft Power BI
- Lead marketing funnel optimizationto convert browsers into customers
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and quantify potential gains
- Provide insights on data trends and anomalies, and recommend enhancements to drive revenue, profitability and best-in-class user experience
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant analytics experience
- Working knowledge of all MS Office tools, with expert knowledge in Excel
- Working knowledge of an ETL tool
- Experience with analytical methods and statistical concepts; strong problem solving skills and a deep understanding of digital KPIs
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Power BI; SQL knowledge is a plus
- Strong aptitude for distilling data from multiple sources into an action plan to drive results
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in building/managing dashboards and dashboard tools
- Knowledge of constructing tagging and tracking methods
- Accuracy/attention to detail
- Experience with digital attribution modeling and measurement
- Online retail experience is preferred
