Technology Support Manager (Education)



We are seeking an Indirect Technology Solutions Support Manager for the Indirect Technology Solutions Department.

This role is accountable for building and maintaining a team to perform the support functions of the systems, applications, and technology related processes for the Indirect Channel. (Auto, Manufactured Housing, Indirect Lending Support (ILS) and Indirect Merchant Financing (IMF)). This role is accountable for providing L2 leadership, managing, maintaining, and ensuring excellence and continuous improvement of support services to fulfill departmental accountabilities. Additionally, accountable for assisting the Indirect Technology Solutions Manager by serving as lead to the Indirect Technical Analyst team.

Highlights:

  • Lead the Solutions Support function to ensure the well-being of the department and its team members by monitoring and guiding the technical direction
  • Serving as a liaison between Indirect Channel and IT if assistance requires their resources
  • Initiating change by providing plans, procedures, schedules, and goals
  • Diagnosing service needs, responding, and resolving technical issues
  • Determining approaches for capturing data to track and report systems and application efficiencies
  • Problem solving with existing processes and ensuring compliance with processes designed by L3 manager

Experience:

    Required

  • 5 or more years of technical systems analyst experience required
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors

    Preferred

  • Continuous Improvement/Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred
  • Financial services industry experience preferred

Education:

    Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study OR equivalent experience and knowledge required

Skills & Knowledge:

    Required

  • Extensive knowledge of data processing and enterprise software applications
  • Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products including MS Visio and MS Project
  • Strong project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment
  • Strong analytical, technical, and conceptual skills with attention to detail
  • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical knowledge and expertise to other professionals, regulators, and credit union staff
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Results oriented with a strong focus on the customer (both internal & external)
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Strong service orientation to align needed support to the desired business outcome

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm

Level of Work: 2C
