Talent Acquisition Specialist (Creative Design)
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TA Specialist) aids in the task of locating and qualifying potential candidates for hire. The TA Specialist will work with Hiring Managers, local Human Resource Representatives and others to research, locate and qualify individuals for prospective employment in a wide range of positions within the Company.
Intake meetings – responsible for conducting meetings to review with the Hiring Manager and local Human Resources the job description, search territory, limitations, salary, due dates, duration of the search, cycle of recruitment and regional analytics.
Sourcing candidates – conduct research on potential candidates using the tools provided, such as, social media, University relations, professional associations. Demonstrate the ability to build pipelines of candidates to source from when needed.
Expediting candidates – responsible for full cycle candidate experience. Must understand the importance of the Company brand and how it relates to how candidates are handled through the process.
Interviewing candidates – responsible for phone screening candidates, as well as, scheduling and, in some cases, participating in on-site interviewing. Must have expert knowledge of the interviewing techniques used.
Closing requisitions – responsible for ensuring the requisition is closed after a candidate is selected. Must ensure that the offer is made timely, follow up is done with the Hiring Manager, HR and the other candidates not select for the position, reporting all relevant etrics (salary offer, time, platforms used, etc.)
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE:
Must have 5 years of experience working as an in-house recruiter with at least 2 years of experience as a HR Generalist.
Must have working knowledge of social media platforms for recruiting, such as, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
Must be familiar with applicant tracking systems and candidate assessments.
Prefer experience in high volume recruitment.
Prefer experience with employer and talent branding through social media.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing or related field of study.
