Employment Skills Trainer - Centerville Store (Finance)
Position Summary To provide supervision and production training to Extended Employment Services participants assigned to various training sites.
Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) 1. Assigns program participants to different tasks such as hanging, sorting, sales floor tasks or other appropriate duties.
2. Trains, supervises and assists with program participant work site activities/breaks as needed.
3. Monitors and records all production data for each program participant.
4. Uses software / case management systems (GoodPoint, Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.) to input program participant data and communicate with team.
5. Develops methods to improve quality and quantity of work performance.
6. Partners with retail management to ensure that productivity requirements are met.
7. Provides information to the Case Manager regarding program participant production, behavior and progress, if applicable.
8. Ensures participants are swiping in and out of KRONOS on a daily basis.
9. Completes case narratives in a comprehensive and accurate manner.
10. Conducts monthly safety meetings
11. Participates in case staffing/service planning meeting.
Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance High School Diploma or GED required. 1-3 Years' experience in a related field required. No professional certifications are required for this position. The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties. The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass both state and federal criminal background checks.

Information Privacy and Security This associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.
Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions The associate is required to lift 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Walking or standing to a significant degree involves sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling. The associate works in a general office environment and is infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.). The associate is required to travel throughout the Goodwill service area.
