Senior Social Media Editor, ELLE (Creative Design)

ELLE is seeking a seasoned, strategy-driven Senior Social Media Editor to lead and innovate across our digital platforms. This is a high-impact opportunity to grow one of the most iconic fashion and culture brands on Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, Apple News, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and publish daily content across Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
  • Monitor platform performance and engage with audience feedback
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to drive social-first storytelling initiatives
  • Develop innovative strategies to grow ELLE's social media presence
  • Partner with branded content and marketing teams to execute paid campaigns
  • Stay on top of emerging social trends, tools, and best practices

Qualifications (What We're Looking For)

  • 6+ years of post-grad experience managing social platforms for a consumer editorial brand
  • Strong editorial instincts and excellent writing skills
  • Deep understanding of ELLE's voice and audience
  • Passion for emerging social trends and creative experimentation
  • Proficient with social tools including Dash Hudson, SocialFlow, True Anthem, Google Analytics, and CrowdTangle
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Flexible availability for nights and weekends as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in journalism or a relevant field

Compensation
The base salary for this role is between $74,000 and $89,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Union Statement
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
