Purchasing Administration Support Representative (Administrative)



DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a Purchasing Administration Support Representative in Olathe, KS to provide support to staff and management. This individual will be responsible for communicating with customers, ensure pricing/invoices have been complete and representing the company in a professional manner. Requires computer proficiency and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to staff, department and management.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner with good customer service and verbal communication skills.
  •  Maintain and promote a positive attitude toward customers regardless of the circumstances.
  • Communicate with supervisor or other office personnel in an effective and timely manner.
  • Check for part numbers and description of parts, verifying pricing and shipping information on purchase orders/order confirmations are correct.
  • Corresponding with vendors for updates and corrections, updating database with changes.
  • Creating and maintaining UPS/ LTL shipments
  • Receive incoming calls from trucking companies and drivers; providing dock information for deliveries and a shipments, verifying information.
  • Other duties as assigned 

Job Requirements:

  • Microsoft outlook (2+ years preferred)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) to four (4) years administrative office experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, good with numbers, obtains basic math skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
  • Computer proficient
  • Successful candidate will have excellent communication and customer relation skills and high sense of urgency with exceptional problem solving skills
  • Detailed oriented team player with good interpersonal skills
