Correspondent Lending Specialist (Finance)
Position Summary:
The Correspondent Lending Specialist is responsible for customer support for a variety of internal and external audiences. This person will help support and continually improve the operational processes of our correspondent lending division. They must also protect the company integrity through thoughtful review of all new loan applications and financial documents received, ensure applications are timely and accurately input, documents are uploaded to our loan origination platform and maintain on point communication with all parties involved, and timely coordination with our correspondents and other internal resources. The position will ensure compliance with associated bank policies and procedures and state and federal regulations. Strong relationship building and customer service skills are critical to the success of this candidate.

Preferred Education/Experience/Software:
Two or four-year degree preferred, high school or equivalent degree required. Prior loan processing, funding experience preferred. Completes diverse deadline driven tasks. Works with highly sensitive and confidential information. May act as a resource to other internal staff. Knowledgeable in a wide range of Microsoft Office software applications to develop spreadsheets, templates, and reports is required. Proficient with Fiserv and other necessary bank platforms.
Additional Requirements:
The responsibility to acquire and maintain the required knowledge of State and Federal Banking regulations and policies.
Training:
Responsible for the timely completion of all required compliance training such has BSA, Information Security, and other job specific training as assigned.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Professional office environment. While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to operate standard office equipment. The team member is frequently required to communicate and perceive. The position is primarily stationary and not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions and requires sedentary work such as exerting up to 10 pounds of force 5% of the time and a negligible amount of force approximately 95% of the time.
