Position Summary Designs and develops organizational learning solutions. Collaborates with Goodwill leaders to design the overall curriculum of assigned programs and processes. Works closely with other members of the Workforce Development and HR teams to ensure a positive learning experience that results in benefit for both Goodwill and the associate. Essential Duties (Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.) 1. Plans, coordinates, and manages instructional design projects including eLearning, webinars and instructor led training. 2. Creates engaging learning activities and compelling course content. 3. Works with subject matter experts to identify target audience's training needs. 4. Applies tested instructional design theories, practices and methods. 5. Prepares courses for upload to Goodwill's Learning Management System. 6. Designs and develops sound instructional materials for use around the organization. 7. Recommends and utilizes new technology for instructional design. 8. Analyzes existing and future curriculum to determine continued applicability and relevance. 9. Designs learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners. 10. Applies best practices and principles of Instructional Systems Design (ADDIE). 11. Leverages blended delivery approaches as well as rapid content development tools & processes. 12. Delivers training programs both virtually as well as in person (classroom). Supervisory Responsibilities The associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred • Minimum of 3 years' of Instructional Design experience • No professional certifications are required for this position. • Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required. • The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass both state and federal criminal background checks. • The successful candidate will have significant experience in all areas of the ISD Model and a demonstrated successful track record in developing and implementing leader-led, digital, and hybrid learning solutions targeted to a multi-level audience. • Exceptional presentation and communications skills are essential to success in this role. • High proficiency in eLearning software to such as Articulate, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate etc.) • Excellent project management skills. • Must have demonstrated ability to build influential relationships, cross-functional partnerships, and gain executive buy-in. • Must be a results-driven, team player. Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions • General Office Position - The associate is required to lift up to 10 pounds maximum. • The associate works in a general office environment and is infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.). • The associate is required to travel throughout the Goodwill service area.
