Flex Processing Machine Operator

Pay: $30.09/HR + $1.50/HR Shift Premium

Required Shift:

3rd Shift: Monday- Friday 11pm-730am

• Flexible to weekends pending business needs
• $1.50/HR shift premium

Job Purpose:

The Flex Processing Operator is responsible for producing and monitoring production efficiently and safely using loaders, unloaders, fillers and waterbath equipment.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience
• Mechanical training or background

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.).
• Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping
• Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment
• Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Able to handle hot and cold temperature environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical degree or certification
• Previous experience in filling
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience

What will be your Key Responsibilities?

• Accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, and pieces of manufacturing equipment including loaders, unloaders, fillers and waterbaths
• Monitor activities on production lines: optimization, downtime, escalations, quality checks, waste reporting, maintenance, quality assurance, change overs, etc.
• Run extruders in line with global standards, safety standards & monitoring regimes
• Any ad hoc requests of the leadership team or site
