What You'll Do as a Carrier Services Intern
Scotlynn USA Division is currently seeking to fill one Carrier Services Internship position. This internship is ideal for undergraduate Business students seeking additional experience in the Fall semester of 2021. The Carrier Services Intern reports directly to our Carrier Relations/Carrier Services Director. This internship has the ability to obtain class credit through FGCU's Academic Internship program.
How You'll Do It
Data Entry - Compiling, sorting, and verifying accuracy of information before entry; entering and updating Carriers and Carrier profiles
Contacting Insurance Companies - Verifying and updating carrier information
Resolving issues with brokers regarding Carriers' profiles
Locating and correcting data entry errors or reporting them as needed, document verification and auditing
E-filing Carrier Documents
Requirements
Current part-time or full-time college student, preferably Business or Communications major
Must be available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8AM to 5PM
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Administrative, clerical, and organizational skill
Compensation and Benefits
Internship is paid, $10 dollars per hour
Opportunity to participate in volunteering or other corporate sponsored initiatives
Possibility of growth; Internship to full-time opportunity
Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for an office environment
