JOB SUMMARY
Pella of Colorado is seeking a Class B Delivery Driver who, as an integral part of our business, will be responsible and accountable for the safe, prompt and reliable delivery of premium window and door products throughout the Denver Metro area and state of Colorado, providing a best in class customer experience.

Daily responsibilities will include:
Delivering and unloading various products within assigned route schedule and time windows, verifying delivery of items and obtaining proper signatures; includes quality control and inspection of product upon receipt, immediately informing management of any deviations.
Loading and unloading damaged goods and customer returns, completing necessary paperwork.
Reconciling and loading outbound shipments using scanners for inventory and logistical controls.
Performing pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities following state and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Pella safety preferred work methods.
Complete DOT logs (electronic or manual as required), company vehicle maintenance reports, and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required.
Facilitates routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reporting any maintenance malfunctions to the logistics manager.
Collect money (cash, credit cards or checks) when required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with a "clean" driving record (including no single DUI in the last 3 years and no multiple DUIs within the last 10 years).
Must have air brake endorsement.
2 years local delivery experience, including 1-year commercial driving experience, and 1+ years of mountain driving experience.
Requirements:
Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations.
Ability to operate vehicle in a variety of traffic and weather conditions, and chain-up during inclement weather per CDOT requirements.
Ability to conduct overnight deliveries due to distance within state (will average 7-14 overnight mountain deliveries per year).
Ability to maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to hand cart, pallets, load bars, and personal protective equipment.
Ability to transport product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
Ability to frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs up to 75 pounds, and occasionally up to 500 pounds (help/assistance required for anything >100 lbs).
Ability to frequently bend, reach (up to 72") and twist while loading and unloading products, and retrieving items from trailer.
