Engage engineering and the production team supporting engineering investigation projects, prototyping, pilots, and production.
Using a microscope, build products for customer orders, pre-production, and production.
Role model expertise in wire, solder, and assembly of fabricated components to make electrical and mechanical assemblies using a microscope.
Support “out-of-the-box” thinking to help develop and improve Zetec's capabilities through design and manufacturing.
Regularly contribute improvement ideas and provide input for work instructions. Work with Leads and Ops Engineering to implement process improvements and other changes.
Repair assemblies that fail to meet requirements using a microscope.
Utilize established Best-Known Methods.
Meet or exceed established build time and quality standards on the most advanced tasks.
Assist Manufacturing Engineering to establish build time standards.
Role model for the team in following assembly work instructions, drawings, quality assurance procedures, and directives from the Supervisor.
Report problems with work instructions, procedures, mechanical parts, electrical continuity, or anything else negatively affecting quality. Actively work with Leads, management, Ops Engineering to solve issues and improve quality and assembly processes.
Organize and complete work assignments in a timely manner, limiting unproductive time.
Seek to improve skill set and learn new assembly methods.
Role model for the team with a mindset of producing quality through teamwork.
Follow all company safety policies and Quality Assurance requirements.
Overtime may be required.
