Experience in leading multifaceted, internal and external teams. The Global Program Manager is responsible for the success of the program, current and future projects.
Responsibilities
• Own the program vision and help establish the program's product/technology pipeline and clinical strategy
• Be the market expert related to the products and program; maintain expertise by analyzing market trends, customer needs and feedback, and competitor products and strategies
• Specify market requirements, identify needs, and obtain feedback for new and existing products
• Track financial performance of products to achieve revenue objectives
• Manage quarterly product forecasts and inventory levels
• Develop sales/marketing tools and training/educational materials for customers, sales representatives, and distributors, and in support of clinical activities
• Develop and manage strategy for new product commercialization and launches, working with Business Operations, Engineering, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs, Quality Assurance, partners and collaborators, and external suppliers and vendors
• Train and mentor inside and field sales representatives, ensuring they have the product and program knowledge to achieve CBD business objectives
• Identify, develop, and manage partner and distributor relationships related to the products and program
• Work closely with CBD functional teams, including Business Operations, Engineering, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs, and Quality Assurance to identify best practices to address challenges and assess CBD business opportunities
• Work in both collaborative and independent environments with minimal supervision
• Be highly motivated and goal-oriented, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
• Utilize excellent teamwork skills to influence groups without direct management authority
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required
• 7+ years of engineering and/or product management experience required
• Technical background in engineering, biology, regenerative medicine, and/or related field is preferred
• Demonstrated success commercializing and launching medical devices is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio and Project
• Experience in medical device development; experience in cell therapy or advanced therapeutics.
• Experience in Vascular Disease/Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) product development and commercialization preferred.
• Strong scientific background (advanced degree or equivalent experience in engineering, biological sciences, or medicine preferred).
• Strategic, creative thinker, skilled in advanced problem-solving.
• Adept at managing and prioritizing multiple complex projects at once.
• Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to work in a variety of environments and team dynamics.
• Demonstrates strong people management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other programs and functions (RA, QA, QE, R&D, Ops) to ensure program goals are executed per strategy.
• Demonstrates ability to present program updates to key stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
Physical Requirements:
• General office environment
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time
• Travel up to 30% may be required, including internationally
• Flexibility to work at both the Bloomington and Indianapolis office locations
