Senior Manager, Market Access Marketing (Marketing)

Description:

The Senior Manager, Market Access Marketing will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams in executing Payer Marketing communications for brands in Endocrinology, Neurology, and Pediatrics, as well as potential pipeline products as they near product launch. This will involve partnering with the Brand leads and Market Access teams to support development and delivery of the product value proposition for patients, providers, and payers to facilitate access and reimbursement. Additionally, the role will involve partnering with Market Access and Sales to develop pull-through strategies and tactics for major formulary wins.

Essential Functions:

• Develops and implements impactful access strategies, including compelling and differentiated product value propositions, distribution and dispensing, and pricing and affordability. Assists in the creation and execution of launch access strategy to secure and maintain access, reimbursement, and affordability. Collaborates with cross-functional team to identify market insights to build comprehensive market access strategies, associated forecast assumptions, and aligned messaging across segments.
• Establish relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve market access and commercial goals such as payers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), patient advocacy groups, and vendors/consultants.
• Develops the promotional plan, programs, and tactics to pull-through market access strategy (training materials, selling resources/tools, and field sales integration)

 

Education:

• Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Business, Economics, Science or related area - Required

Experience:

• 8 years or more in 8 or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry including 2 or more years of Market Access or Marketing experience preferably in Endocrinology or Neurology

Skills:

• Expertise in the US market access environment (e.g., payers, health systems, pharmacies, health policy and reimbursement) - Advanced
• Ability to develop and execute strategies and tactics for a product portfolio - Advanced
• Self-motivated, agile and collaborative - Advanced
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management - Advanced
