ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Verify incoming Certificate of Analysis (COAs) for all raw materials and ensure they meet supplier specifications.
Request supplier specifications, kosher certificates, annual audits, and other applicable information based on established frequencies.
Maintain the manufacturer lot tracking guide and supplier risk assessment, as well as aid in applicable document review and validations.
Coordinate samples for microtesting, PH, and Aw for shelf life testing and other applicable needed laboratory testing.
Schedule and assist in BRC internal audits.
Conduct monthly plant inspections as needed.
Perform research on applicable topics when necessary.
Complete case checks as needed.
Receive bulk raw material loads when needed.
Assist in QA baking and panning of products when needed.
Aid with the hold process when needed.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Food Safety and Quality Manager.
