Production Supervisor-2nd Shift M-TH (Manufacturing)
Support the efforts of other departments through prompt responsiveness to requests and inquiries.
Physical Requirements
In the occasional coverage for floor employees the following may be required.
Workers are required to lift packages up to 40 pounds.
Work may require bending or stooping.
Employees are required to walk long distances repeatedly throughout the day.
Standing/Walking 8+ hours per day.
Employee required to climb step stools/small ladders.
Knowledge
H.S. Diploma Required
Supervision or 2-5 years equivalent work experience
Experience
2-3 years experience leading teams to accomplish daily production/assembly goals.
2-3 years Maintaining quality in a production environment.
Working with other departments to achieve goals.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
2-3 years in Stamping Manufacturing.
Skills
Ability to provide team leadership, lead problem solving initiatives, establish team goals.
Knowledge of workflow methodologies.
Able to organize daily work and track accountability.
Ability to use MS Office (Outlook, MS Word, Excel, etc.)
Knowledge and ability to use ERP systems such as Epicor.
Able to lead personnel in daily duties by leading by example.
Able to accomplish work results, priorities, monitor work progress, report results of workflow on shift summaries.
Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Strong cross functional communication skills.
Training in material handling equipment.
Good work ethic.
