Production Technician, Cloning Technologies (R&D)
New England Biolabs (NEB) is inviting applicants for the position of Production Technician. Reporting to the Group Leader and in close collaboration with the members of the Cloning Technologies Group, the individual in this position will be primarily responsible for supporting the manufacturing of both existing and new DNA modification products.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare formulations of DNA modification products and related reagents.
Process production orders in SAP with accuracy.
Perform standard QC protocols and carry out the testing of new QC assays.
Track and maintain stocked inventory of standard over the counter (OTC) products.
Fulfill OEM/Bulk custom orders.
Adhere to protocols and maintain proper documentation.
Assist customers with technical inquiries about DNA modification products.
Work in collaboration with Research and Applications & Product Development to develop new products for commercialization.
Required Qualifications/ Experience:
Bachelor's degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related discipline
1-3 years' experience in the life science industry.
Knowledge of molecular biology techniques.
Capable of self-management within a fast-paced team framework
Strong ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, including good lab notebook practices.
Goal and deadline oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
Have a strong work ethic, emphasizing both efficiency and quality of work.
