The Senior Manager, Sales Performance will be responsible for leading a team of coaches to drive new sales initiatives, and shaping the coaching strategy to enhance sales effectiveness. This individual will work closely with Sales Training and Enablement teams to design and implement impactful sales content and training programs that drive measurable results.

Essential Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of coaches, driving the coaching strategy to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives to boost performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and support to sales representatives, offering actionable feedback and guidance to ensure continuous improvement in call quality, objection handling, and closing strategies.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and trends to identify skill gaps or opportunities for improvement and suggest targeted improvements to sales training programs based on performance data.
  • Partner with the Enablement team, sales managers, and outside vendors to design and execute sales methodology, content, and training programs, ensuring new sales reps are fully equipped with product knowledge, sales processes, and customer insights while aligning with broader organizational training strategies.
  • Work closely with the Enablement team to deliver continuous learning opportunities, including workshops, webinars, and role-playing exercises, and interactive sessions, ensuring the sales team is equipped with up-to-date skills, product knowledge, and industry best practices.
  • Facilitate interactive in-person and virtual training sessions for the sales team, covering a wide range of topics, including product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with D&B's products, the latest sales methodologies, tools, and industry trends to ensure training programs are innovative and effective.
  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • Years of Relevant Experience: 5 - 7+ years
  • Essential Skills and/or Certifications

  • Minimum of 5-7+ years of experience in sales coaching, training, or performance management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect and influence individuals
  • Proven ability to coach and develop sales teams, with a focus on measurable results.
  • In-depth knowledge of sales methodologies, sales enablement tools, CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tech platforms to maximize productivity.
  • Experience working with B2B a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to assess and analyze performance data to drive improvements.
