General Manager
JOB SUMMARY
Directs multi-site fulfillment/warehouse operations of e-commerce and business to consumer clients through a team of site supervisors, shift supervisors and lead employees to ensure efficient use of resources with manpower, materials and equipment. The General Manager will be responsible for a single geography with 2-6 sites, with direct reports from each facility. The primary focus of this role is to build relationships with clients, prospects, and employees to achieve our Company Mission.
The GM will provide direction, development and leadership to all facility employees either directly or indirectly through supervisors and lead personnel. They will define and recommend objectives in Operations, develop short-term and long-term plans and goals, support and collaborate on budget and finances and more. They will oversee all daily operations of the distribution center from order production to administration and customer service. In this role, they will also ensure policies and procedures are followed. The GM will essentially treat their geography as their business and make decisions with strong confidence and foresight, reporting directly to the Director of Operations and the EVP of Operations.
