Project Manager (Engineering)



ECI Software Solutions, Inc., headquartered in Ft. Worth, TX, develops and supports enterprise software solutions for a wide range of small to medium sized businesses. The ECI Residential Home Construction division provides software solutions for residential homebuilders across in the US and Canada. The ECI MarkSystems platform is an integrated software and real-time simple, visual, social, mobile information system solutions for land developers and homebuilders. We provide the only enterprise level, fully integrated system available for homebuilders today. Our company is growing and creating excitement with our best-in-class ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) products.

ECI is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, high-energy, hands-on professional to join our Implementation Services team to drive project implementations for our Residential Home Construction (RHC) products. This full-time position can be based in our offices in Ft Worth, TX, Mt. Laurel, NJ or remote.

The Project Manager will work with customers to define the scope and schedule for the projects and maintain constant communication with both clients and internal stakeholders. The Project Manager will monitor and control implementation projects to ensure successful completion of the projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of complex, small to medium implementation projects
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of multiple projects to meet the overall strategic initiatives
  • Collaborate with Implementation Team members to drive and execute implementation milestones
  • Facilitate end-to-end project communication plan: from Sales handoff to Graduation handoff
  • Monitor project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members
  • Manage customer relations to ensure customers are actively engaged throughout the project life cycle
  • Keep leadership informed through reports and status meetings to ensure project plans and deliverables are met, potential risks are identified and resolved, and customer expectations are reached
  • Manage administrative tasks including maintaining weekly timecards, scheduling, and reporting requirements

Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a major in business administration, business information systems, construction management, project management, finance or a relevant discipline or equivalent years of experience in construction
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Understand common industry business practices in residential home construction operations
  • 3-5 years of ERP project management experience
  • Experience in managing project stakeholders, including expectations etc.
  • Experience in change control, project planning, team management, and scheduling
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective project and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, active listening, and customer service
  • Dedicated team player and individual contributor
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, FinancialForce, and ServiceCloud or similar CRM platform
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
