POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Design is a strategic and visionary leader responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion for our modular home manufacturing company including delivering innovative housing solutions that fit within our manufacturing capabilities. This role oversees key aspects of sales, marketing, client acquisition, and brand development, within defined market segments, aligning business objectives with go-to-market strategies. In addition to Sales and Marketing responsibilities the Vice President will also lead the Design team which includes architecture and engineering. In this role the VP will integrate sales and technical expertise through the architecture and engineering team to provide attainable, high quality, architecturally interesting homes to our target markets. The VP will lead a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally to position the company as a market leader in attainable, innovative modular housing solutions.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership:
· Identify and grow new revenue streams, including new geographic territories, market segments and strategic partnerships.
· Develop and execute a regional sales strategy focused on B2B (dealers, developers, and municipalities) to include the creation of key account plans.
· Set and manage sales targets, forecasting, pipeline development, and performance KPIs.
· Implement sales training programs to ensure consistency in brand messaging, competitive advantages and product knowledge
· Develop client reporting structures to communicate accurate project status to various departments and leadership of the organization
· Collect client feedback and project data for communication and collaboration with engineering and architecture departments to support the design innovation of Fading West product lines
· Execution of sales and marketing strategic and annual operating plans with a focus on managing clients from initial contact to signed supply agreement
Marketing Leadership:
· Oversee market research, competitive analysis, and client segmentation utilizing established strategic planning tools and 8020 philosophies.
· Own the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy to include website optimization, email campaigns, SEO, content marketing, and social media (e.g. LinkedIn) as applicable, to generate qualified leads and build brand awareness.
· Implement targeted campaigns for each buyer persona (e.g. developers vs. municipalities) utilizing insights from voice of client campaigns to increase engagement and conversions.
· Guide product rationalization and pricing models
Design Leadership (Architecture and Engineering)
· Leads team that creates architectural, structural and mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) drawings for modular single and multi-family homes.
· Develops systems and processes in the design team to ensure they are as effective and efficient as possible in their daily activities
· Ensures efficient information flow from sales to design team for projects that will be produced in the factory
· Acts as a conduit of information between the client and design team to ensure our clients are supported and our engineering team is working effectively on the highest priority tasks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
· Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain and client solutions teams to ensure client needs are integrated into product offerings and delivery processes.
· Partner with finance to establish accurate forecasting and ROI measurement for sales and marketing investments.
· Interface with the rest of the senior team to align strategic goals with market-driven insights.
