Software Engineer (Information Technology)
This position is for a Software Engineer in either Aurora, CO or King of Prussia, PA. This role will be approximately 40% work from home and 60% in office support (offices are in Aurora, CO and King of Prussia, PA). You will be working closely with a talented team to create and maintain software baselines on both Windows and Linux environments. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members of Stratagem.

Salary Information
The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline only. The many factors that are included for consideration include, but are not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education, training, certifications, key skills, and mission/customer intimacy. These factors are combined with market and business considerations to extend a job offer.
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate has a current and active TS/SCI clearance and proven successes creating and maintaining full-stack software solutions.
Required skills:
- Active TS/SCI with SSBI
- At least 5 years of backend or frontend software development
- Proficiency in integrating server and client-based software components
- Experience developing microservices
- Experience with Messaging Frameworks (eg. Active/ZeroMQ, Kafka)
- Experience with Atlassian Tools
- Experience developing software and team interactions in an Agile Scrum environment
- Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of hire
Desired Skills (bonus points)
- Current Security+ Certification
- Proficiency with Object Oriented Languages (eg. Java, C++, or C#)
- Proficiency with Scripting Languages (eg. Python, Bash and/or other scripting languages)
- Proficiency with Web-based languages (eg. HTML, CSS, Javascript) and their associated libraries (eg. NodeJS, Angular, React)
- Proficiency with AWS or Azure
- Proficiency with Database structures (eg. relational and/or non-relational)
- Proficiency with Source Control tools (eg. Git and/or Subversion)
- Proficiency with Unit Testing tools (eg. JUnit, NUnit, and/or JTest)
- Experience with Government Clouds (eg. GovCloud, C2S)
- Experience with Docker/Docker-Compose
