Colson Group is currently seeking a Quality Manager in our Jonesboro, AR facility. The Quality Manager will supervise Quality Department personnel and activities to improve overall product quality and Quality System effectiveness throughout the organization.
Primary Responsibilities: • Provide guidance and management assistance to various improvement teams to maximize their results and improve the company's performance. • Work with supervisors, group leaders and office staff to achieve productivity goals and minimize customer complaints, scrap and rework. Increase the company's understanding and use of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles to improve overall performance. • Management of quality systems including management reviews and quality metric reporting. • Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Strategic Planning, Verbal Communication, Informing Others, Quality Engineering, Dealing with Complexity. • Responsible for identify needs of the quality management system at the plant site - to improve or support corporate quality or customer requirements.
