EDI Continuous Improvement Leader - CuraScript - Hybrid (Finance)



We are seeking a detail-oriented EDI Continuous Improvement Leader to join our dynamic team in the pharmaceutical distribution sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and aligned with industry standards. This role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and drive initiatives that enhance our EDI capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Process Analysis:

- Assess current EDI processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.

- Conduct regular audits of EDI transactions to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

2. Continuous Improvement:

- Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of EDI processes, focusing on reducing errors, enhancing data accuracy, and optimizing transaction speed.

- Utilize data analytics to measure the effectiveness of EDI processes and drive informed decision-making.

3. Collaboration:

- Partner with IT, Supply Chain, Sales and Operations teams to design and implement EDI solutions that meet business needs.

- Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to address EDI-related issues and streamline communication.

4. Training and Support:

- Create training materials and conduct training sessions for staff on EDI processes and best practices.

- Provide ongoing support to users regarding EDI tools, troubleshooting issues, and answering inquiries.

5. Documentation:

- Maintain up-to-date documentation of EDI processes, standard operating procedures, and technical specifications.

- Prepare regular reports and presentations on EDI performance metrics and improvement initiatives for management review

6. Project Management:

- Lead EDI improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.

- Coordinate with external vendors and partners as necessary for EDI system upgrades and enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- 3+ years of experience in EDI operations, analysis, or continuous improvement, preferably in the pharmaceutical distribution industry.

- Strong understanding of EDI standards and relevant regulations (FDA, HIPAA).

- Proficiency in EDI software and tools (e.g., SAP EDI, etc.).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Project management experience is a plus (PMP certification is a bonus).

- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
