CDL B Jet Vac Lead (Transportation)
Job Summary:
Lead those who operate Sewer cleaning equipment as part of the service contract duties and responsibilities to company customers. Ensure that equipment is operated in accordance with safety and operating guidelines.
Location: Plantation, FL
Starting Pay: $28 per hour *based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform duties with a work crew to clean and clear sewers, catch basins, and remove wastewater.
- Sewer Repair
- TV Laser Exp
- Drive and operate company trucks and equipment.
- Service various customer needs using company equipment.
- Operate JetVac & related equipment.
- Complete paperwork related to the work and company / customer requirements.
- Interact with customers to ensure the work is completed to their satisfaction.
- Communicate with the office regarding obstacles, needs, and customer interactions.
- Document any changes to the scope of work or project changes.
- Accept additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment, repair, or facilitate repair as necessary

Job Requirements:
- CDL Class A or B
- Laser TV Experience Sewer Storm Drain Repair
- Tanker and Air Brake Endorsement
- Clean Driving Record
- DOT Medical Card Ability to read a map
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
- Ability to pull hose up to 500 feet
- Ability to understand DOT requirements and regulations
- Availability for a significant amount of overtime during peak periods
- Honesty/ Integrity required
- Attendance and Punctuality required
- Ability to communicate both written and verbal
- Requires work performed in outdoor environments
- Exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions.
- Exposure to noise, vibrations, jarring, fumes grease oil & chemical
- Possible exposureto wet and/or humid conditions, heights, and confined spaces.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
- Possible exposureto bodily fluids / human waste, etc.
- The possibility of working out of town for extended periods of time.
