EDUCATION: High school diploma or G.E.D.
EXPERIENCE: Customer service experience required; cash handling experience required; 10-Key experience preferred
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license; State issued ID
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time; stoop, bend, twist and lift up to 35 pounds regularly; have good dexterity and grip
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust, noise, bright & flashing lights.
JOB SUMMARY: Cage Cashier is responsible for cashing vouchers, checks, change, chips and tracking all MTL-MIL transactions.
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires: the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines; flexibility to work any shift including weekends and holidays; excellent math skills; good oral and written communication skills; the ability perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures
