Shift Hours: 6AM-2:30PM

Hourly Rate: $18.50

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inbound Truck Scheduler & Researcher to join our high-performing distribution center team. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound freight schedules, managing carrier communications, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials into our facility. In addition to scheduling, the role requires research and analysis to support process improvements, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and schedule inbound truck appointments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of freight.
  • Manage communication with carriers, vendors, and internal warehouse teams regarding scheduling updates and changes.
  • Research and analyze data to identify process gaps, optimize scheduling efficiency, and improve overall logistics performance.
  • Support quality assurance monitoring and compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, unloading, and stocking materials using manual handling or material handling equipment.
  • Track and maintain accurate inventory records, purchase orders, and freight documentation.
  • Monitor and report on inbound freight metrics; recommend improvements for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Partner with operations leaders to implement cross-training, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a resource and mentor to junior staff, providing training and guidance when needed.

What You Bring:

  • Associate degree (preferred) with 3+ years of logistics, scheduling, or supply chain experience; OR High school diploma with 5+ years of relevant warehouse/distribution experience.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain, freight scheduling, and distribution center operations.
  • Proficient in using scheduling systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Hands-on, team-oriented mindset with a focus on building trust and collaboration.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $35,000.00 - $52,600.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
