Communication Manager (Media)

Littelfuse is looking for a highly driven, creative and passionate Communications Leader who will build, grow and manage internal and external communications and change management plans and manage our community service impact. This individual will be an outstanding verbal and written communicator with a passion for storytelling, a strong understanding of public relations and social media strategy and a love of serving others. They will be self-motivated, proactive and eager to make a difference.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of an annual communication plan that promotes stakeholder engagement, fosters connections, builds the Littelfuse brand and delivers business results
  • Develop, plan and manage content including messaging, articles, press releases, social media posts/blogs, website content, award entries, videos and presentations
  • Develop media relations strategies, story ideas, pitch angels and conduct proactive media relations activities as well as daily monitoring of social and traditional media platforms
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for community service impact through management of giving and volunteerism programs and related community relationship building and promotion
  • Manage external awards and recognition by creating and submitting applications and processing and promoting all earned awards
  • Serve as a subject matter expert by ensuring all communications are on brand, on message and appropriately bolster corporate reputation
  • Plan and execute internal live, hybrid and virtual communication events
  • Implement and use insight and measurement tools to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and channels

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strategic mindset with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
  • Knowledge of current and emerging employee communication tools
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)
