Assist Maintenance Supervisor with all types of service requests. Pick-up trash as needed including but not limited to cigarette butts, leaves, papers, empty cans, etc. Check all dumpsites to ensure there is no overflow. As assigned, use the blower around sidewalks, pool area, dumpsites to ensure they are free of debris, leaves, and mud (15 lbs.). Provide maintenance to the pool according to the local health department. This includes maintaining proper chemicals in pool, scrubbing side and bottom of pool with scrub brush, and up-keep of waterfalls and related equipment (30-40 lbs). Shampoo vacant and occupied units. Will require carrying shampoo machine (30 lb.) and 5 gallons of water (52 lb.) for a total of 82 lb. when performing the task.Ensure that all outside lights are properly working. Replace vacant unit light bulbs as needed. Prepare "lights-out report". Prepare assigned units for move-ins in a timely manner and to company expectations according to the Maintenance/Make-Ready Checklist. Assist with painting of vacant units and touch-up paint. Will require carrying and lifting paint buckets (up to 70 lbs. when large buckets are full). Ensure all plants around entrance and office are watered as needed. Treat resident and fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
