INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER (Architecture)
The Industrial Engineer supports process improvement and industrial engineering standards of a Regional Distribution Center (RDC) operations. The primary focus is to develop, evaluate, and implement process improvement ideas. Maintain the local Labor Management System and all supporting systems and programs required to maintain Industrial Engineering Labor Standards (ELS). Analyze, maintain, and communicate KPIs and other reporting to the RDC Leadership team to assist in driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities (May perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned).
1. Work with local RDC leadership, network DC IE's and corporate Supply Chain support to develop, evaluate and implement process improvement ideas. This should include interaction with all levels of team members as well as visual mechanisms to signal where projects and ideas are at in their lifecycles. When appropriate, provide feedback to requestors and implementers of ideas to improve future suggestions.
2. Provide support as an Industrial engineer to RDC and maintain engineered labor standards including the ability to conduct time studies and determine production benchmarks by collaborating with RDC leadership team to achieve the operating metrics and target goals.
3. Provide support for Labor Management Systems through continuous reviews and sustaining Engineered Labor Standards methodology by utilizing Industrial Engineering principles.
4. Establish ELS for distribution center functional areas. Analyze time studies to evaluate the sequence of operations, motion, methods, workflow, and ergonomics to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
5. Develop, maintain, and publish KPI's and other reporting needs on a regular basis. Develop dashboards that can be visually and analytically leveraged by True Value to quickly compare trends.
6. Observes associates as they work to learn their habits and offer training recommendation to maximize efficiencies.
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
· 3-5 years of experience, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Technology.
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
