Material Planner I (Education)
In collaboration with the Production Supervisor and Supply Chain Manager, the Planner Scheduler coordinator will develop and maintain day-to-day planning and scheduling of work centers to accommodate customer needs. This includes but not limited to order creation, material availability, balancing production schedules, expedite order process, achieving targeted inventory levels, and procurement of material while communicating status and results to all appropriate cross functional departments.
The Planner Scheduler will also be responsible to assist in the integrity of the warehouse and storage of raw materials using the 5S methodology while maintaining the required fundamentals under ISO 13485: 2016.

Job Qualifications, Equipment, and/or Experience:
Good interpersonal, organization, and communication skills. Must demonstrate strong decision-making skills, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. Supply or Planning preferred, and 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing planning and scheduling role is desirable. Must have integrity, interpersonal skills, initiative, and a self-starter committed to finding process improvements. Must be a self-motivated problem solver who will drive projects and people. Understanding for Cardinal Safety Rules and general Safety Practice Rules of the Company.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and boards of directors. Must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Earplugs may be required occasionally. May be required to travel via car and airplane with an overnight stay on occasion.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger; talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds.
