🧩 About the Role:
As an Activities Assistant, you will help coordinate and lead recreational activities for residents in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. From arts and crafts to music, games, and group outings, you'll play a key role in enhancing the daily lives of those in our care.
🛠 Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs
- Encourage resident participation and adapt activities based on individual needs and preferences
- Support documentation and attendance records in accordance with state and facility guidelines
- Help decorate activity areas and set up for special events
- Work closely with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or with elderly/disabled populations preferred
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills
- Creativity, flexibility, and a team-player attitude
- Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
