Traffic Manager II (Transportation)

We are currently searching for a Traffic Manager to join the Creative Strategy team in our Seattle headquarters to implement design workflows, intake processes and manage timelines ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and on time. You will be the central point of contact, facilitating communication and collaboration to keep design requests and projects moving forward smoothly. 

  

Position Summary 

 

As a Traffic manager on our team, you will bring a combination of critical thinking and top-notch organizational skills. You will oversee the flow of traffic for various projects, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and deadlines are met. You will use critical thinking to make decisions after thoroughly evaluating available information and coordinating various projects, aligning them with the company's objectives. You will act as the bridge between stakeholders and the creative, video and web teams and, often the first point of contact for problem resolution during project discovery. You will exhibit the ability to refine processes for improved outcomes. Your success in this role will be measured by the impact of your outcomes on strengthening the brand, creating efficiencies, driving business results, and contributing to the company's overall growth. 

 

You will: 

  • Have a leadership mindset, exhibiting BeF5 and LeadF5 principles

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans that convey key activities, timelines, and resource requirements necessary to achieve project objectives 

  • Lead creative intake meetings and execute follow-up actions accordingly 

  • Manage the day-to-day interactions of the intake process, ensuring smooth workflows and timely delivery of services, monitoring the status of ongoing projects, and ensuring that all tasks are on track for timely completion 

  • Communicate with creative team and stakeholders regarding the state of the projects, including progress, schedule, quality, dependencies, blockers, risks 

  • Be responsible for capturing and driving to resolution project risks and issues 

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies and work with the internal team and agencies to implement changes 

  • Maintain strong work standards, and promote productivity, accountability  

  • Work effectively with internal and external agency teams 

  • Effectively manage time to deliver projects on schedule 

  • Uphold F5's Business Code of Ethics and promptly report violations of the Code or other company policies 

  • Perform other related duties as assigned  

 

Your knowledge, skills, and abilities: 

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills 

  • Expert level user of project management practices and tools, particularly Wrike 

  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and systems 

  • A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into needs 

  • Proven demonstration of initiative and ability to advance projects while managing multiple initiatives 

  • Advanced understanding of MS Office Tools (MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Wrike  

  • Ability to build relationships, credibility, and trust, balancing multiple stakeholders needs effectively 

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable creative briefs and project plans discovering project requirements and potential challenges 

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills 

  • Negotiation and conflict resolution abilities 

  • Curiosity and willingness to explore, ideate, and experiment 

  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced marketing environment 

  • Ability to keep all projects on track and communicate project status with manager and team 

 

You have:  

  • Track record of success driving effective project and traffic management for a brand or product with meaningful results in the market 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in project management, traffic management or program management 

  • Familiarity with creative project management methodologies and experience managing creative projects and working with creative or product teams. 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred 

  • PMP, a similar certification preferred

The annual base pay for this position is: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00

F5 maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, geographic locations, and market conditions, as well as to reflect F5's differing products, industries, and lines of business. The pay range referenced is as of the time of the job posting and is subject to change.
