Cook Regentec ( www.cookregentec.com ), a Cook Group company, was founded in 2015 as an incubator and accelerator for emerging medical technologies. Our primary focus today is to innovate breakthrough medical devices for the preparation and delivery of advanced therapeutics, including cell, gene, and immunotherapies.
The 11 month Internship program provides hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Industry. Work plans are designed for interns to outline their responsibilities and goals during the internship. Work plans also include assignments aimed at developing a broad perspective of Cook Regentec and the company's current business objectives.
This is a remote-eligible position open to qualified applicants in the United States.
Responsibilities
• Maintain OKR project plans and Dashboards using Smartsheet
• Assist in Brand development and Website design/construction
• Assist in development of social media marketing program, procedures, and policies
• Expand use of Tableau throughout programs
• Assist in system Validation of Quality Management System (QMS) releases
• Assist in Administration of SharePoint Portal
• Assist in implementation of technology for healthcare/customer connectivity
• Self starter with whatever-it-takes/figure-it-out attitude
• Ability to assess and automate manual processes to gain efficiency
• Assist in cross-functional communication
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Must be enrolled in college Graduate program, preferably in Information Technology/Information Systems
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred
• Must provide proof of enrollment in a college or university
• Interest in a career in the Life Sciences industry preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft software, e.g. MS Project, Excel, Word
Physical Requirements:
• General office conditions
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment
