Summary: The System Administrators role is to configure, maintain, and monitor applications and systems to ensure a high level of availability of the supported network environment. They will participate in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure system access and provisioning is consistent with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Reports to: Chief Information Officer Responsibilities include: Ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of systems, programs and tools related to security operations and toolsets to improve security and stability. Manage all aspects of the infrastructure: hardware, telecom equipment, networking equipment, email, intranet, etc. to ensure production uptime during operating hoursAdminister disaster recovery procedures and backup jobs, including periodic testing to validate backupsManage virtual servers and storage technologies Keep servers updated with current firmware and patchesInstall, configure, upgrade, and support Windows, Office365, Meraki, AWS and Linux servers and clients Provide Level 2 end-user computer hardware and software support to local and remote users provide backup level 1 support as volume and schedules requireAssist in the implementation of new technologies in assigned projects Document systems, backup and restore procedures.Manage work assignments & priorities of two help desk specialists
