We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic Vice President, Global Sales ESBU to lead and oversee the sales strategy and execution for the $1.5B+ Electronics Business Segment of our global manufacturing company. As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving sales targets across a wide range of end markets. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in selling to OEM and Distribution markets across multiple global markets.
About the job:
Collaborate with the business unit leadership team to define sales objectives, strategies, and targets aligned with the company's overall goals and vision.
Lead the sales team in consistently achieving and surpassing revenue and profitability targets, both on a regional and global scale.
Presence in the electronic industry, both geographically and across different customer segments. OEM, Manufacturer Representatives and Distribution Sales Experience.
Build and manage the sales team: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their individual and team goals.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and distribution partners, optimizing the appropriate Sales Channel and through leveraging these relationships to drive sales and secure long-term contracts.
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, monitor market trends, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports to the executive team to inform decision-making.
Foster strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Work closely with product management, marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales strategies, product launches, pricing, and inventory management to enhance profitability.
Lead the Business Development function to continuously monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and stay ahead of market developments.
About you:
At least 15 years of experience in senior sales roles, including a minimum of 10 years in sales leadership positions. Experience as a VP of sales is preferred.
Strong background in the manufacturing industry, preferably with a Tier 1 manufacturer of electrical parts and assemblies for the electronic market.
Demonstrated success in selling through establishing partnerships with OEMs as well as distribution channels.
Experience in managing sales operations in international markets, with a solid understanding of global sales dynamics and cultural nuances.
Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse sales team to deliver exceptional results.
