Behavior Consultant (Personal Services)
Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) provide behavioral health treatment to children up to age 21 who have a current DSM or ICD mental health diagnosis and require behavioral support. The services use professional staff and natural supports to create a network of support around an identified child and their family. Services can be rendered in a child's home, community or school location dependent upon the child and family's needs.
Services include utilizing expertise to help families in implementing an individual treatment plan (ITP) developed by the lead clinician and based on their goals and objectives. The use of community resources to achieve maximum improvement in the child's functioning with minimum disruption to the family unit is key.
