IT Business Analyst/Developer (Information Technology)
Fundamental Mission:
The role serves as the functional liaison between business customers and technology teams, analyzing customer business needs and participating in the planning, design, and implementation of new or enhanced IT solutions.
Critical for the role's success is the ability to understand business processes and customer needs; the ability to understand technology concepts; and the ability to effectively communicate between and across both the business and the technology communities.
Vital for the organization's success is the talent the right individual brings to this role for innovating new solutions, defining solution architectures, optimizing and streamlining legacy solutions and automating manual tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Key contact with the business users who support manufacturing operations to identify new application solutions and system functionality
- Analyzes customer business needs and participates in the planning, design and execution of solutions
- Supports the IT department's strategic and operational planning activities, the process development, business continuity and disaster recovery plan development activities
- Play a key role in the project management of application development and implementations
- Technical programming maintenance, enhancement and new development of custom developed solutions
- Configuration and vendor liaison for 3rd party implementations
- Technical programming maintenance, enhancement and new development of custom application solutions
- Documents processes, IT systems, applications, products and/or services
- Work with the outsourced/offsite resources for the daily application support and implementing enhancement and development projects
- All other duties as assigned
Skills and Knowledge:
- .Net developer with Microsoft Visual Studio Enterprise 2019 is required
- Microsoft Visual C# is required
- NET MVC design pattern is required
- PL/SQL stored procedures is required; Oracle is preferred
- Agile project team experience a significant plus
- Application architecture experience a plus
- Outsystems experience a plus

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer information systems is preferred
- 10 years equivalent experience IT development, with business analyst and project management responsibilities
