Salary range: 65,000 - 75.000 depending on experience

Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY: Grow Brooklyn Park Manufacturing (BPM) millwork sales by promoting BPM products and services amongst all Scherer Bros. Sales Associates including Sales Center, Senior Sales & Sales Support. Serve as liaison between SBL Sales and BPMs Operations, Purchasing, Order Management and Manufacturing staff to further BPMs sales growth, market share and profitability. Collaborate with the BPM team in maintaining pricing, purchasing, product selection and operational standards which best support the need of the customer and continued growth of BPMs products and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sales Support & Development of BPM Millwork Programs:
Support Sales Managers in maximizing opportunities to achieve millwork sales goals
Collaborate with BPM Purchasing, Sales Center Manager and Sales Managers to ensure up-to-date product displays, samples and literature
Establish a consistent travel schedule to all SBL sites, visiting each a minimum of once per week
Conduct jobsite visits/trim walks as needed
Partner with Sales in resolving customer concerns
Recognize and celebrate victories and outstanding performance
Conduct Sales training and field Sales inquiries on all BPM millwork price tools and configurators, understanding of product multipliers & margins
Collaborate with Sales and BPM staff to remove roadblocks which may presently compromise sales, customer satisfaction and/or loyalty

BPM Duties and Responsibilities
Work with BPM Purchasing and SBL Sales teams to maintain inventory position, stock and special order pricing best suited to serve our customers
Work with BPM Operations, Order Management and Manufacturing teams to establish and maintain high standards for customer service
Evaluate competitor pricing (wholesale and other retail dealer) offerings to ensure proper margins and market competitiveness
Participate in regular meetings with BPM and SBL Sales management teams to monitor progress
Participate in millwork sales/promotional events within and outside SBL
Provide support for researching and resolving product warranty/quality claims

3. Millwork Product Knowledge & Sales Training on all categories including but not limited to:
Exterior Doors (Sock and SPO offerings for wood, steel & fiberglass)
Interior Doors (stock and SPO offerings)
Stock Interior Molding offerings
Interior stair parts offerings (wood, wrought iron, etc.)
Specialty Shop and custom milling products/services
FarNorth Sash
Window Service offerings
Properly walking a job and measuring a millwork takeoff
Proper millwork estimating (doors, trim, stair parts, etc.)
Proper entry of BisTrack sales orders, related POs, etc. for all BPM products
Millwork product and installation training for Sales teams, customers and architects

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent
A minimum of five years of building products experience
Millwork estimating and sales experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
2. Demonstrate a positive company image in attitude, dialogue and professionalism
3. Knowledge of millwork products and related products
4. Proven skills in customer service and customer service training
5. Knowledge of construction and contracting processes
6. Ability to motivate a team to high levels of performance
7. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
8. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement principles
9. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and BisTrack
10. Proficient in BlueBeam estimating/takeoff software
11. Negotiating and problem solving skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Local travel required
2. Computer work requires hand/finger/ wrist dexterity
3. Sitting for extended periods of time
4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
5. Ability to work flexible and extended hours when needed

ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
1. Majority of work to occur in an office environment

LICENSE(S) AND/OR CERTIFICATE(S):
1. Valid Drivers license with an acceptable driving record
