ENG MGR (Architecture)
Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in engineering and development in these fields. Successfully drives projects through to completion. Develop and design new and existing product and product families. Evaluates products, parts or processes for efficiency and reliability. Interface with internal and external customers to determine and to apply technical solutions. Acts as technical expert for internal and external customers. Acts as a supervisor/mentor to the Engineering staff.
OB SPECIFIC SKILLS:
Provide work direction and leadership to assigned personnel. Responsible for the supervision and long-term development of assigned employees. Train and ensure employees understand and comply with company policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and assigning/coordinating workloads, appraising performance, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving issues. Maintain time and attendance records, approve absences, initiate overtime requests and notify management of scheduling issues and overtime usage when appropriate. Advise employees of pertinent information and issues that may surface in the course of doing business. Responsible for individual performance and behavior, as well as the performance and behavior of subordinates.
Education & EXPERIENCE:
B.S. in Engineering or equivalent. 10 years of experience in related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
