HVAC Install Team Leader - Columbia (Maintenance)

The HVAC technician is our human link with the customer who has retained our HVAC services. This is a vital link in terms of revenue, reputation and success. Anyone performing in this capacity must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in order to effectively communicate with the client as well as the office. Must be willing and able to train new team members in all company systems and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Directly manage install technicians. This includes but is not limited to training employees; planning, assigning; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees
• Quality checks on recent customer HVAC installations.
• Respond to customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner; resolve customer complaints
• Able to assist techs in bidding and estimating jobs
• Ensure work is performed ethically and in compliance with state, local and Federal legal requirements as well as in adherence with company safety standards
• Pursue training and development opportunities whenever needed to improve capabilities
• Run weekly training meetings to instruct on sales practices, new products, and KPI reviews

Education/Certification Requirements:

• EPA Certified.
• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• NATE Certification preferred.
• HVAC certification or Diploma preferred.
• Ability to read a map
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to supervise apprentices
