A Day in the Life
Bring your training talents to an industry leader in medical technology and healthcare solutions! We are hiring a Training & Education Specialist to help provide leadership, development, execution and evaluation of our training and education materials for Medtronic Care Management Services (MCMS) programs and solutions. This business is located in Chanhassen and is focused on telehealth and patient monitoring. In this role you will be responsible for developing and coordinating training and education activities and ensuring goals and objectives are operationalized and accomplished. You will utilize your content development and training skills to train customers and internal staff. This is a great role to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including program design, program marketing, product and software development, customer service, operations, and field staff.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and execute training and education content and plans for product and application launches and releases for internal stakeholders
  • Coordinates the design of learning content and solutions using a variety of training delivery methods options, including instructor-led classes
  • Collaboratively leads the creation of training and educational materials and training delivery planning with other departments and work groups as needed (Program Design, Product Owners/Developers, Marketing, Customer Service and Operations)
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational training programs and materials
  • Manages the content updates for education, training, and implementation materials
  • Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
  • Performs other duties as required
  • Light domestic travel possible (Less than 10%)

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a training, communication, marketing, instructional design or in a role involving training others in a corporate setting, or advanced degree in lieu of experience

Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of the medical field or in clinical settings
  • Experience in telehealth care management
  • Knowledge of care management within a health plan or health care system
  • Content development and/or direct training experience
  • E-Learning Software (LMS) and Microsoft Applications
  • Previous experience training end-users on software
