Quality - Laboratory Technician (R&D)

Royal Chemical is looking to hire a Laboratory Technician for our Chemical Liquids facility in East Stroudsburg, PA!

Position is first shift - 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

What we expect from you? 

A Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing quality control tests on finished goods, incoming raw materials and in-process materials. Some, but not all, functions of this position are: 

• Conduct quality inspections on finished goods and process equipment 
• Ensure timely testing and data recording for all samples 
• Generate and issue customer COA's 
• Post daily production in Ross system 
• Coordinate response to customers' inquiries and plant management inquiries 
• Calibrate and evaluate laboratory quality control equipment 
• Manage or support label control 
• Assist plant management with internal or customer related projects 

Experience/Competencies 

• High School Diploma or GED required 
• Minimum 1 year experience in a quality control or chemistry laboratory setting 
• Knowledge of liquid chemistry lab skills 
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel 
• Must have strong math skills
