Manager of Operations (Project Management)
The Manager of Operations (MO) conducts the daily operations, administration, and finances of the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE). This position oversees the CFE budget and finances, including annual budget planning, monthly accounting and reconciliation, purchasing, and invoicing. The MO manages the departmental payroll, hiring, and onboarding responsibilities. This role supports the director of CFE, providing administrative and clerical assistance, including scheduling and travel. MO plans large events and workshops, providing booking, catering, and in-person support. The MO provides content management system (CMS) support for the CFE website and provide administrative support for campus Interfolio and Faculty Activity System software systems. This position supervises multiple undergraduate student employees, providing them guidance and mentorship.
The Manager of Operations is a full-time staff position, reporting directly to the CFE director. A hybrid work schedule is negotiable based on CFE needs and work performance.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, or related field
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in accounting and/or management in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree
