Role Summary

The Head of Transformation & Operations for Chubb Overseas General is a strategic and execution-oriented executive role responsible for leading large-scale transformation and operational excellence across all international markets. This leader will co-develop and execute the global transformation agenda with a strong emphasis on identifying and implementing digital opportunities across products, channels, and operations.

This position requires an accomplished executive who can balance visionary thinking with rigorous discipline, isolate and scale "digitally flippable" processes and businesses, drive sustainable process innovation, and lead execution with precision across a diverse set of geographies and business models.

Key Deliverables

Transformation Leadership
  • Architect and lead the end-to-end transformation strategy for COG, aligned with enterprise goals and local business priorities.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to digitally "flip" entire business lines, processes, or customer journeys where automation, platform models, or digital-first capabilities can unlock new value.
  • Establish and lead a transformation office or function with clear governance, operating rhythm, and delivery methodology.
  • Advance a bold digital agenda, in partnership with technology and digital colleagues, to simplify, automate, and modernize core capabilities across underwriting, claims, operations, and service.
  • Prioritize high-value transformation initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, customer benefit, and speed-to-value.
Operations Management
  • Oversee end-to-end international operations including policy administration, billing, servicing, underwriting support and claims support functions.
  • Drive operational performance improvements across cost, cycle time, productivity, and customer experience metrics.
  • Design and implement a globally operational Hub based operating model with defined service standards and controls.
  • Strengthen shared services, regional service hubs, and centers of excellence to enable scalability and efficiency.
  • Drive an operations organization prepared to drive an operating model that allows organizational growth at near zero marginal costs growth.
Governance & Portfolio Management
  • Responsible for the oversite, governance of the strategic initiatives across technology, operations and transformation related to strategic planning, annual plan and the delivery and measurement of the strategic program portfolio. This includes portfolio management, prioritization, aligning to strategic objectives, status reporting and benefit realization tracking
Process Innovation & Optimization
  • Lead efforts to modernize, digitize, and reengineer key processes, ensuring measurable improvements in quality, cost, and throughput pursuing straight through processing and AI assisted outcomes whenever possible.
  • Introduce process innovation frameworks, Lean/Agile principles, and digital toolkits to empower local teams to continuously improve.
  • Champion the use of intelligent automation, AI, and workflow technology to remove friction, simplify work, and elevate human potential.
  • Create and maintain a process inventory and maturity model to benchmark performance and target interventions.
Benefits Realization & Value Tracking
  • Build and manage a robust benefits realization framework to measure and report on financial, operational, and customer value from transformation programs.
  • Ensure that initiatives deliver sustainable value and are embedded into BAU operations with ownership and accountability.
  • Maintain transparency and discipline in tracking transformation outcomes across all regions and functional areas.
International and Cross-Cultural Leadership
  • Collaborate with regional leaders, functional heads, and country management to drive local engagement and ownership of transformation and operational initiatives.
  • Navigate cultural and market differences across geographies to implement global standards and local adaptations effectively.
  • Build and lead cross-functional global teams with a clear sense of mission, accountability, and delivery discipline.
Executive Partnership & Strategic Governance
  • Partner closely with Chubb Group technology, data, digital, and finance leadership to align on enterprise transformation goals.
  • Represent operations and transformation in executive forums, strategic planning sessions, and investment decision-making processes.
  • Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to the Global Operations Officer and President of Chubb Overseas General on transformation priorities, progress, and risks.
