Loss Mitigation Collections Representative (Administrative)
About the Position:
Using excellent customer service and negotiating skills, a Loss Mitigation Collections Representative at Crescent Bank will work to successfully collect late-stage past due loan payments from our customers. This is a critical role in our organization and ultimately helps in achieving our overall company goals and ensuring company profitability.
The person in this role will have a “Put the Customer First” mentality and be able to effectively and efficiently use our in-house call model to be able to manage a daily queue of 80-90 accounts while maintaining an average quality score of 90% or above. This position will strive to bring as many accounts as possible out of past-due status by the end of the month, meeting or exceeding the department averages for volume of payments collected. An ideal candidate will be able to thoroughly understand the company call model and how to effectively utilize it for account negotiations within the first 30 days of employment. Lastly, this position will be expected to effectively utilize skip tracing resources to meet or exceed department repossession assignments
What we are looking for:
To find success in this position, a candidate should have two or more years of experience in late-stage collections, experience in the sub-prime auto industry is a plus, with a solid understanding of payment collection laws and regulations. The person in this role will also need to have great communication and customer service skills. Someone who is a self-starter and results driven will be a top performer in this role. Bilingual a plus.
