Software Engineer/SRE - C#/Azure (Information Technology)
The Site Reliability Engineer is a critical part of our SaaS platform strategy. In this role you will work closely with engineering to ensure the observability, availability, and performance of Tricentis Products, and will join an established Cloud Operations team.
Essential Job duties and responsibilities:
- Respond to application or security incidents alongside engineering, manage incidents to resolution by following established processes
- Debug code changes and provide solutions, provide root cause analysis
- Design/implement application monitoring and performance metrics/dashboards
- Maintain application runbooks
- Automate manual operation tasks
- Assist and mentor teams in developing scalable, performant, applications
- Provide continuous feedback to Product, Engineering and Cloud Operations team
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years in an SRE/DevOps role
- 3+ years experience with .Net Core, C#, Azure DevOps (or other CI/CD tool)
- 3+ years experience with one or more scripting languages, such as powershell, bash, or python
- 2+ years of full-time experience operating applications on Azure
- Experience in operating Kubernetes applications in production
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail and process oriented
Pluses:
- Understanding of application and infrastructure security principles
- Experience with Relational and/or NoSQL databases
- Deep knowledge and experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with multi geography, multi-tenant applications (preferably microservices architecture)
- Experience creating shared libraries or services to be consumed by other teams
- Azure certifications
